After swimming and running my next activity on Mondays is to breath with a client but to breath consciously and deeply. I let her decide how long we breath in this manner. We start with the deep, conscious breathing, inhaling and exhaling and then transition into the chakra breathing where we consciously pass each of the chakras. This is such a welcomed activity for me, particularly after some physical exercise. This really helps to center me for the rest of the day. When I finish my sessions with this specific client, I plan to maintain a conscious breathing time with the same intent as I swim, run or bike. Mindfulness for me is really conscious breathing and conscious breathing is this manner is mindful meditation.
