Tyler was born without the use of his legs. I met him at the Twin Cities Marathon which I have accompanied clients to for several years. He was the first finisher in the chair division. I worked on him when he came into the elite tent and we both discovered we were from the Washington DC metropolitan area and agreed to work together leading up to the Paraolympic Track and Field Trials. I traveled with him to Phoenix and experienced a marvel and have to say that working with Tyler was one of it not the very best professional experiences of my career. I learned so very much from him and traveling to and from Phoenix with him gave me insights I still cherish. I was at the dinner when the name of athletes going to the Beijing Olympics were announced and when I heard his name I felt a connection that I still am very grateful for. Thank you Tyler!
